So...who watched the double-bill premiere and totally freaked out!?

Me!

And I totally loved the Francis Capra and Kristen Bell scene because they played my OTP on Veronica Mars.

Huh, really? I had no idea! That's...random.

Other thoughts on the episode, beware rambling:

I absolutely love Peter, he's one of my favourite characters, but Future!Peter REALLY annoys me! He's become hardened, darker and a bit of an arse, and I dislike it. I can't believe he put our Peter in the body of a crazy "level 5" villain, this can only end badly.

Ando had powers in the future!! And killed Hiro! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I absolutely adore their friendship, so to think of them becoming enemies is really upsetting. And to think of one actually killing the other? Say it ain't so! I'm glad Hiro told Ando about it, and didn't hide it, because I'm sure that would've made the situation worse. Hopefully the two can maybe now work on making sure that what Hiro saw, DOESN'T happen.

Sylar can heal now! Crap. Although, was anyone else MAJORLY intrigued by what he said about Claire being "special"? The scene where he was in the house was insanely creepy, and so well-done. I wonder what's in-store for him next, especially since he's been caught again. I can't help but think of how that went last time.

Mohinder is a noob, he should've known better than to inject himself with that serum. And now he's apparently...flaking? Ew.

What the hell happened to Nikki?! That's what I want to know!!! And Micah, and Monica. I'm not impressed with the lack of answers on that part.

YAY for Nathan being alive! That makes me so beyond happy :-D Although, what the hell is with him seeing Linderman? Colour me so confused.

And oooh, so Angela dreams of the future? It's kinda cool that that's where Peter got that power from originally. I wonder what her dream meant, because Adam was definitely in it, and I thought he was forever stuck in a grave with Mr. Nakamura :-/

Matt is in Africa? Shit! Although it's cool that he met someone else who also has a gift...and what is this new sign we've started seeing everywhere?

AND OH! The formula!!! Who has the other half? And what do you get if you put it together?! It's all so enigmatic and intriguing.

Man, I've missed this show.

Oh, I like the premiere a ton too.  Here are a few thoughts-

As far as Nikki goes, could  that have been Jessica (maybe she didn't die, after all as a kid).  It'd be very intriguing, for sure.

Yes, Monhinder is a noob.  First he joins the dark side (the Company) last year, and now this?  What is he thinking?  I'm concerned that they're going to ruin his character.

Yay for the death of Toby the Company Elf!!!!  He was an annoying 'big bad' (and I use sarcastic quote marks) and having the most pimp big bad on television kill him and reclaim that role on Heroes seems...fitting.

So, yeah, see Sylar is great, as he is the nuts and is the best villain that TV has ever had (would that be too big a stretch?).

I like that Peter will be hardened in the future, but I want to see him in the present.  This Weevil Petrelli-ness reeks of what they did last year with the memory loss-Peter's so powerful that the makers just don't know what to do with him or how to incorporate him well, so he's got some b.s. story to take up time.

I do love seeing Francis Capra, though, and I should never complain at the seeing of him on screen.  At least it will be interesting when Sylar goes after him with it really being Peter (Sylar had Capra's pic among those that he took from Claire's home).

The theme of 'villians' is awesome, and I can't wait to see how it plays out.  And seeing Mr. Sark in the dream just goes and gives me unrealistic hopes that we'll see him again.  After all, David Anders is the nuts.

Cristine Rose is just awesome and is an Emmy worthy actress.  I sure hope that we get lots more from her this season.  She's a cast member now, so we should.  Great and interesting character, too.

The Matt story looks very intriguing, and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

And the theme of changing the future by trying to change the past (leaving bad consequences) is great.  What an interesting topic to look into.

Overall, I'm holding high hopes for Heroes after the premiere.

I'll try to give a few thoughts...

-I'm concerned about the 'everyone can have powers' story.  While it has potential, it could also be very easily screwed up.
-Sylar is the nuts.  That is all.
-I love Kristen Bell.  She should be in every scene.  She is also the nuts.
-I was very happy that Molly didn't show up, and likely won't show up again.  The same goes for Micah.  Both of them are annoying at times.
-Giant wtf at Not-Nikki.  This makes no sense.  I just makes no sense.
-I agree about Weevil Peter.  Peter's so powerful that he should be able to defeat anybody and stop any problem by himself, and the writers clearly don't know how to handle this.
-I'm also so intrigued by Claire's extra-specialness.  What does that mean?
-Another giant wtf at Mama Petrelli's telling Sylar that he's her son.  Did she drink crazy juice right before going into that room?  That was just weird.
-Another giant wtf at Linderman.  I mean, he's...kind of dead.

I'm sure that I could come up with plenty of other stuff, but it's late and I'm all tired and stuff.  I hope my rambling makes sense.

Also, I loved the first two episodes and am very eager to see Chapter Three.

Oh, the ending with Mama Petrelli telling Sylar that was just weird and a major wtf??? moment.  And if Sylar was Claire's uncle, it sure would make the rape metaphor in the first episode that much more disturbing.

I sure am intrigued by the Hiro/Ando future storyline too, and wanted to add it since I didn't mention it before.  I also am very concerned about the everybody having powers thing, but I honestly don't see them truly getting there (or I at least hope not).  But giving us (and Hiro and Ando) the knowledge that they COULD become enemies in the future and having one having the potential to become a villain is awesome (are we sure that it was Ando who was the villain in the future, or is it that Hiro just assumed that Ando killing him meant that he was a villain?).  That should be something good to see.

Great start to the new season - enjoyed all the Sylary parts.

Also - and i'm going to brag my ass off now - I said it was Peter that shot Nathan!!! Oh yes. Ok that bits done now.

Mama Petrelli being Sylar's mum really works out too. Great idea. I can still see it all ending up being the 5 years in the future episode that we saw in season 1. That would just be a great twist.

Well done, Ant :-P *pats you on the head*

I totally forgot about Angela saying she was Sylar's mum!!! :-O That was CRAZY. I wonder if she means literally, or if it's meant to be in some sort of a figurative way. I'm not entirely sure how that works, but I don't know if I believe that it's as easy and uncomplicated as Sylar being Peter and Nathan's half-brother. WEIRD!

From, Hiro's POV, it definitely looked as if Ando was the villain, especially since the two were arguing and Ando just out-and-out used his power against Hiro to kill him. But we don't know ANYTHING about the motives behind it, or what led to that point. Finding out will be interesting, to say the least, but I have to say, I have a hard time believing that Hiro somehow ended up being the villain.

New episode tonight!

C&P my thoughts on yesterday's episode from another forum:

I loved yesterday's episode. First off, I totally adored Hiro and Ando and their entire antics to get the formula - "can I get popcorn?"/"no" XD Though I couldn't help but feel that Hiro disappearing in the middle of Ando's "we stick together" speech is an ominous sign of things to come :-( I'm really nervous about their storyline, and what happens to lead up to apparently evil!Ando killing Hiro.

Daphne was good in those scenes aswell, I'm so intrigued by who it is she's working for. Ooh! I totally think that she's the girl in the paintings of Matt's future, the short, blonde hair seems to give that away. So supposedly, first they were going to get together and have a baby, and now she'll die in his arms? Poor Matt!!! :-( The guy can never cut a break. Loved all of his stuff in the desert too, with the as-yet-unnamed painter. Though I'm not entirely sure what happened to him at the end, with the music and taking that weird drug stuff...

Angela Petrelli creeped me out and annoyed me this episode. The way she was babying Sylar at the beginning of the episode (and fed him that random woman!!! :-O), and then the fact that she just let him out, free into the world, considering everything he's done, seemed a bit stupid. I still don't know whether to believe her when she says she's his mum, or think that she's talking balls. It could go either way, to be honest!

That being said, I loved everything Sylar in this episode. He had a great dynamic with Noah, and seeing them snark at each other was so funny. Also loved his cop impersonation, and the way he came to the rescue at the end. Although, killing Jesse? Not so good. Feels like regression.

Nikki's really dead?! Noooo! :-( Poor Micah, what's going to happen to him now? I can't help but think this'll be the last we see of him, if not for ever, then for a long while. Anyway, I liked the little moment between him and Tracy, and the revelation that she's a clone, even if I did think it was initially twins. Sounds interesting, anyway! And does that mean there might be more of her walking about? And what're the chances someone else might've been cloned too?

I love Peter and everything, but Future!Peter is just a pain in my ass. The numpty didn't think through the consequences of changing the past, and now he's running around trying to fix his mistakes, but it's not that simple. I know he said the future was messed up because of what Nathan revealed in the press conference, but I wonder how much further it'll be messed up now, because of what he did.

Speaking of, not enough Nathan in this episode ¬_¬ And I was also glad about the lack of Mohinder and Maya, he annoyed me last week! The idjit.

The scene with Claire and her mum was intense, but also kinda cool. Her mum is a bit of a badass! I'd love to see more interaction between the two of them, but I don't know how likely that is now, considering Claire left. What exactly does she think she's going to do?

Noah saying he was going to find Sylar's weakness at the end, and kill him, was an awesome reminder of how much of a badass he can be. Can't wait to see more of that story develop!

-Sylar and HRG together is the nuts.  The two of them are just so outstanding in every way.  I can't wait to see how this plays out.
-Claire's story is looking interesting.  And the scenes with Bio-mom were awesome.  And I just like seeing Hayden Panettiere period.  :)
-I missed seeing Kristen Bell show up this week.  Hopefully we'll see a lot of her in the near future.
-Peter (and future Peter) is just stupid.  That is all.
-Parkman's story is interesting, but weird.
-I love seeing The Haitian again.  He's really awesome and Jimmy Jean-Louis does a great job.
-Mama Petrelli is so up to no good.
-I was so happy to not see Mohinder and Maya this week.  And I'm happy that Noah Gray-Cabey was listed as a guest star and not a cast member this year.
-I thought the 'villains' that were released would be important to the season story, but...no.  Sylar was the stone nuts in that scene though.
