Obviously I have finished S3 and...
I can not believe Tigh is a Cylon. I love what he said though:

And wtfrack with Starbuck? not sure what up with that!
I do wish they wouldn't have revealed 4 of the remaining cylons in one fail swoop though....... or did they? mwuaa ha ha haaa
Now I only regret I have to watch the prequil (Razor) before continuing with the saga.
I'm about ready to proclaim BG the 2nd greatest TV series evah!

The end of S3 is precisely what I don't like about humanoid Cylons. If you don't know what to write about, you randomly pick someone and promote him/her to Cylon.

Pretty much my exact reaction 
What got me is that I couldn't choose a favourite character for BSG, so I have a whole bunch of favourites, and Tyrol and Anders are among them. So at the end of season 3, almost all my favourite characters were either Cylons or married to Cylons. So I'm hoping none of my favourites go evil, but I'm going to stick to them as favourite characters even if they do.

Yeah I kinda thought that for Anders at least. He seems an unlikely Cylon, I mean what kind of strategic plan were they going for by putting a sleeper agent in a Pyramid team?
But I don't care anyway, I still love it. Just started season 4 part 1 the day and I'm getting through it way too fast, I'll be left in horrible suspense waiting for the end!!

The thing that makes the selection of four of the five final cylons even more unbelievable: Three of them are the top of the resistance on New Caprica.
I'm sorry, the series is pretty good (I really liked Tigh on New Caprica... so bitter!), but this is just a nonsense step.

I dunno, I actually find that pretty believable, I mean they didn't know what they were, it just means they're fighters by nature.

It makes the whole resistance movement on New Caprica a joke, IMO.

I thought it was cheap also, but forgivable. I think we are moving more and more to the cylon - human dynamic being a metaphor for racial issues in the world.
I just hope that Tigh or Tyrol don't end up shooting Adama or something. They just have to end up being good "people"
My ex thinks that it's the Cylons plan to eventually mix with humans. Not sure about that, but interesting regardless.
More likely these "human" tendencies that some of the cylons are exhibiting were unforseen and will ultimately end up distroying the cylons.
I really wish Saul would come clean to Adama though. They need to make provisions to assure they don't have another "sleeper" incident like with Boomer. That's why it never made since to me to let Athena walk around with a gun. It's not like Boomer made a conscience effort to shoot Adama,,, or did she??????

One more thing that bugs me: How is it possible that Athena has memories of Boomer's relation with Tyrol? All other Cylon models don't seem to be able to remember anything that happened to another copy.

I'm so excited. I've been keeping a list of the cylons and thier respective model numbers. So far I know who 6 of the 12 model #s are.

What I can remember:
1 - Brother Cavil
3 - D'Anna Biers
6 - 'Caprica Six'
8 - Shannon
I can't remember the numbers anymore for Leoben, Doral and the black guy (did he ever get a name?), and Tigh, Tory, Tyrol and Sam didn't get a number yet, and #12 is unknown (at least for me).

It took me until the first few episodes of S4 to figure out #s 1, 2, and 4
2 is Leobin
4. is the Dr., the black guy, I think his name may be Simon - I just figured this out last night
5. is Doral
so, that leaves 5 without #s as far as I've been able to figure. The 4 on board galactica and the unknown.
I am working on an extrapolation based on the model numbers and names to try to find a pattern that could divulge the final cylon.

I don't think they automatically have the memories of everyone who's the same model, but they can download them if they want to, and since Athena was originally posing as Boomer when she was with Helo on Caprica she must have done that. They can't access the memories of other models though, I'm pretty sure.

Boomer was still alive when Athena mentioned them to Helo on Caprica, so how could she have downloaded them? They hadn't been uploaded yet.

Doesn't there have to be some kind of collective conscienceness? Amongst like models at least? I mean, when the model "leaders" call a vote. They just sorta stare in space like they are communicating with all of their model kindred. Then they say something like "The sixes agree".

I don't think a Cylon needs to have died for their memories to be downloadable. I don't want to give anything away, but I know this because of season four.

The other sixes don't know Caprica Six has feelings for Baltar. So obviously not all memories are shared. So why did Boomer share her memories of Adama and Tyrol? And how did she share them, if she didn't know she was a Cylon?

I am up to the last episode in S4. Have been for a couple days. I can't bring myself to watch it. I don't want it to end.
I did hear though that Sci Fi Channel will air S4.5 in it's entirity on March 20th.

I only saw season 3 and I would probably second that opinion that this is the second best tv show ever.... I loved it... i just couldn't get enough of it... the cliffhangers are just so exciting, you just have to keep on watching it. Amazing really...
I'm so curious about season 4...
