Favorite BtVS Scene?I think mine is actually the last 2 scenes of Family. I watch it over and over. When the scoobies defend Tara against her blood family at the Magic Box and then at the Bronze when everyone is so happy and Will and Tara dance at the end. sans the Buffy/Riley part.
Post your fave. When we get a list we'll do a poll.

Oh I have so many scenes that I like and for all different reasons.
Here are the ones I can think of at the moment.
- I agree about the scene at the end of Family, finally Tara feels like she belongs.
- Also love the scene in Checkpoint where Buffy gives the Council what for.....especially the scene where she throws the sword!
- The scene in Innocence where Buffy kicks Angelus where it hurts.....but mostly just coz Angelus looks so hot dripping wet!
- When Angel comes back in End of Days and when he is watching Buffy fight Caleb and says how much he misses this. Also the part when he starts acting like a 10 year old by saying he had a soul first.
- Passion - basically too many scenes to mention as this is my favourite ever episode but perhaps one of the most special scenes is when Buffy decks Giles and tells him she needs him.
Will try and think of more and post them later.

Mel, I'm surprised you didn't say the last few seconds of Faith, Hope, and Trick when Angel falls from the sky all naked! ha-ha

Beneath You - and this is a very good scene - well acted by both Sarah & James.

For me, it's gotta be one of the scenes in season 4 with Spike and Buffy. Maybe the one in the bath. hehe. Or maybe in Pangs with the bear.....

Let's see (strictly only from my very favourite episodes, because if I let myself loose I will list like 144+ scenes...):
- Giles transformation into Ripper in Band Candy, to be more specific, the scene with the cop and Joyce and the police car...
- the very moment when every reveals the weapon arsenal they brought to graduation day (Graduation day part 2.)
- Giles presentation in Hush
- Giles' song in the Bronze in Restless
- Spike changes his plans when he see Buffy crying at the end of Fool for Love
- the first, kind cruel moments in The Body...
- okay, Once more with feeling, whole... but if I have to pick just one scene.... than it would be... Marti Noxon and her non-existing underwear
- splitted screen in Him
- the core four gather in Chosen in the high school before the battle
But this is really just a small few out of my head. I could continue doing this until... like tomorrow.

I love all of those as well Darth.
Here's one.
the "Who died?" scene in Doppelgangland. Now, really, can it get any better than that?

Oh yeah, I forgot that one....
"She was better than me..."
"Way, way better..."
HAHA!
And how Giles just flies into Willow's arms... so funny. One of the favourites definetely...!

ooooh tricksy
i reckon the one that i keep going back to is when willow and tara get back together right at the end of entropy
it never fails to move me, and i find myself looking forward to it so much that i often marathon the whole of season 6
also, entropy was the ep that got me hooked on btvs all those years ago

We just watched Choices last night and my secret favourite scene (sercet means here that I never remember it, when I see it, I always adore the scene) when Oz smashes the urn that suppose to destroy the Box of Gavrok. Everyone is shouting and yelling and stuff, and he just stands up and take this simple still moving act of devotion. Love it... He doesn't say anything, it is quiet and simple but still very meaningful act.

Yes, and I love at the end when Buffy and Willow are outside and Will tells her she's going to attend UC SunnyD

As we are approching my favourite season finale/finale battle (season 3 of course... I mean, my favorite season finale would be Restless, but as far as battles goes, Graduation day is the best) we watched The Prom last night and I have to tell you, I'm kinda disappointed in myself that I didn't listed the Class Protector award scene in the first list I wrote.
I remember, when I watched it the first couple of times in Hungarian it wasn't all that touching but when I first saw it in English on my own DVDs... I was crying like a baby.
There's something so touching, heartmelting, warming about how Jonathan talks about Buffy and how he presents that umbrella... Love it... still. I even cried yesterday when we watched it.

I always cry at the end of The Prom. Giles is so proud and Xander too. It's one of a very few moments where everything seems to be ok in the Buffyverse. At the bronze at the end of Family is another, maybe at the end of Prophecy Girl and despite Anya's death, Chosen..
Also, I like at the end of New Moon Rising when Will brings the "extra flamey" candle to Tara.
Any more "all is well" moments?

Oh, I love the end of 'Graduation Day, Part 2', with everyone sitting there. I mean, taking a moment is the nuts.
And the end of 'Innocence' with Buffy and Joyce sitting there is just so sweet, though things have begun to get horrible and all with Angel going evil, but that moment is just, again, sweet.

Yes, Yes, Yes... And at the end of When She Was Bad when the gang is setting in class just like she was never "Bad"
We could smash our enemies into dust with a sledge hammer, but hey, did that last night.

oh, there's so many, but to pick a couple that no one else has mentioned:
the fight between spike and nikki wood is pretty darn cool
at the end of the gift. it's so sad, and they all act it brilliantly.
the "someone's in the ceiling" scene in school hard.
spike's "out for a walk... bitch"
i totally agree with everyone else's too. there are just too many to list.

My personal pick for best scene might well be the scene is 'Fool for Love' when Spike is showing how he killed the slayer in New York. The way that the scene shifts between the past and present is so cool, and Spike's wonderful speech to Buffy/Subway Slayer is awesome.

We just watched that two nights ago and I agree that that is brilliant. When I first saw it, I had goosebumps it is so well directed.

The commentary for that episode has some great tidbits about that scene.

I know there are more, and ones that were more meaningful, but I got these off the top of my head:
-The part in Doppelganger when the gang thought Willow was dead
-The argument in The Yoko Factor
-The war before dinner in Pangs
-The beginning of Conversations With Dead People: It gives me chills every time...
-The scene where Buffy tells Dawn that Joyce died in The Body
-The one in my sig
-Oh, and the scene where Buffy is helpless while walking home in Helpless

Oh, and the spike vs. girl vamp in the Bronze scene with Amie Mann on stage. I love how that scene is "put together" with the song and all.

My favorite scene is probably Buffy's " I dont wanna die" speech in Prophecy Girl. Makes me cry everytime.
Second favorite is the scene when Buffy runs up the side of the stairs leading to her chat with Jonathan in Earshot.
I'm a sucker for the fighting scenes as well!
