I am split between Kaylee and Inara. I voted for Inara, simply because she is the more complex character. Kaylee wears her emotions on her sleeve, which is endearing, but Inara you have to figure out, which is more fun. | ||||

Jayne, Wash, Mal and River are all my favourites, like I love them all to bits, but I think Jayne just wins out. I just ADORE him. | ||||

I recently got another friend into Firefly, and she's almost finished watching the season...she says Jayne's her favourite too. In her words "we love everyone, of course, but Jayne is just...Jayne." I was like "there's not much else you can say apart from that, really!"

Not a fan of Jayne. He's pretty much Spike with a chip. Except his chip is the fact that Mal is paying him more. Don't trust him, believe he'd sell everyone out for a couple dollars. But like Spike, funny, even endearing. Kaylee, my sweet Kaylee, you are the one for me! |

I noticed that, from your post in the other thread. I disagree, for obvious reasons. I think yes, he's untrustworthy, and yes, he doesn't always do the right thing, but I believe there's a lot of good in him, and given the right circumstances and right people, he can change. He did change, actually. Just because he made some bad choices in the beginning doesn't mean I'm going to paint him with a "JAYNE IS BAD" sign forever. | ||||

I fully agree with beagle about Jayne. I would not ever trust him, but I just find the character so wonderful and interesting anyway, so he's my favorite. | ||||
