I was thinking about this the other day...
Which season finale is your favourite? It's really hard, but I think mine's probably Grave. I do love them all, though. Aah!

So, what about you guys?

Mine is Grave too. The two part part (along with 'Two To Go') is my favorite episode/episodes or the series and I just love these so much for so many reasons. Becoming, Part II is next for me, but Grave is frst.

This is the order that I'd probably put them in:
Grave
Becoming Part II
The Gift
Chosen
Restless
Prophecy Girl
Graduation Day Part II

Even though Restless is a contender for my favourite episode ever, it wasn't much of a season finale, more of a prologue. So I've gone with Chosen.

I went with Becoming. However, every finale is just amazing and they're all up there among the best episodes of the series. My order would be:

1. Becoming
2. Two To Go/Grave
3. The Gift
4. Chosen
5. Graduation Day
6. Prophecy Girl
7. Restless (this is last, but it's still incredible)

Restless comes out top for me. I find it quite hard to compare them though, because they're so different. I really love how Restless is so random and yet so obviously thought out. I have to say, though, Chosen and Grave are amazing too. (and the others, obviously)

restless is my all time fave episode, but i dont really see it as a finale either.

inspired by BGs thread of first impressions, im thinking back to my first viewing and thinking about the episode that i would have picked after watching the whole series the first time.

yes, I remember The Gift the first time. (and last night also) I did ok til the gravestone, then I cried like a little girl.. teehee

My favorite is The Gift because it was the one that made me cry the most. I am a big pansy!!! However Chosen and Graduation Day come close too. I love the epic battles Buffy has to endure. However, the meaningful ones are good too. Restless can seem so pointless (expecially to people who dont know the hidden meanings) so as an ending its last but as an episode in general its pretty high up on my list.

It was between Chosen and The Gift for me, because personally, those have the most meaning. But Chosen just won out in the end, though it's still really close.

After that, I'm not entirely sure how my list would go. Perhaps:

That looks about right... I love Restless loads, but as a finale maybe not... I probably should have put Primeval. Stupid me. LOL.

That's a hard one. It's even harder because depending on what mood you're in, you may favour the most tragic, the most triumphant, or simply the most meaningful finale. Here's what I managed, but it might vary if you ask me again on another day!
