So I will start. My name is Melanie and I am 31 years old. I am very happily married and I have three young children, John (  , Nyah (6) and Erin (4).
I work for Ann Summers which I love....it's like having a fun party and getting some money for it. Obviously I am a big fan of Buffy and Angel and my favourite episode from Buffy is Passion and my favourite from Angel is Hero. Both sad episodes, where a main character dies, but also very powerful episodes for me. I collect figures & books from both shows and I am almost always on Ebay looking for anything Buffy/Angel related. Other shows I love are Firefly and Bones and I also enjoy How I Met Your Mother and more recently I have been getting into CSI. I also like reading Harry Potter and my favourite author is Martina Cole. I spend an unhealthy (LOL) amount of time on this forum but it's a great place to spend time and we are all like a big happy Whedonverse family. I am an administrator on here, along with Ant, so any questions, PM either myself or Ant. Enjoy! Oh, and I would definately make Kennedy disappear....she bugs the hell out of me! I am one of the elders of the site at 42 yrs but a kid at heart. Male Live in the southern U.S. Love music. Love my pets. Of course, I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Usually average about an episode a day and almost always watch in order. My avatar usually reflects where I currently am in the 7 seasons. I have all 144 episodes on my iPod and carry it with me everywhere I go. Favorite Buffy episodes are Prophecy Girl, Doppelgangland, and Family. Least favorite episode is Dead Things. I don't mind Riley or Kennedy and I adore Dawny. |

Dang, I guess I'll post something about myself as well.
My name is Jeffrey, and I am 26 and in college for another few months before I get my degree (I'll be student teaching in the fall, and then I hope to get a job right afterward in time for the second semester of the school year). I have a twin brother who goes by the name of NotFadeAway on this forum, and I work in an office supply warehouse about 15 minutes from where I live. I live in Canton, Georgia in the U.S. and I have lived here since I was 3 (I think...maybe 4), so I'm used to this place by now. I love sports, namely baseball and football (go Braves...go Bills) and I love to play cards as well (I go by the name of 2ToGo/Grave on Pokerstars.com and TheTelling on AbsolutePoker.com, so look me up if you play online). I love BTVS so much; it just means the world to me for many reasons. I chose the name that I did for this site (and pretty much every site) because these are my favorite episodes and because my youngest little niece was born the day that these glorious episodes aired initially. I am single, as the picture that I tried to post at the bottom would attest to why I am single, but that's fine too. I am about 5'10'' and weight about 156 according to the last doctor's visit (that was...this morning; it was only for my knee though). My favorite character is by far Tara, as she just means so much to me, and I can relate to her so well (despite that I am not a woman...or gay...or a witch). I just love seeing her any time that she appears on the show, no matter how many times I've seen the episodes. There's not really anyone that I don't like. Unlike many, I like Kennedy a lot and love how she is used (she and Willow will never be a forever-type couple, but that's fine). I love Dawn and think that her stuff may well have been the best part of season six. If I could use the invisibility ray on anything, it might be some of 'Normal Again'. It is the only episode in which I don't love at least something. I personally view it as an abomination, but I guess I"ve made those views clears in the past on the forum and the BTG. I hope hasn't been too dull. I went on rambling didn't I? Anyway, it was fun to write all this at least. If you are new to the forum, I guarantee you that you'll love it very much. It is just wonderful. |

My name is Becky. (As I guess you can tell!) I live in London and I hate England! I'm 23. (Dont act it thou!) I have a filty sense of humour, I work full time at HMV (a very crappy record store!) however I'm saving to move to Holland but its taking longer than I thought. I adore Buffy, the script, the clothes, the music, the hair... (I am weird) My favorite season by far is season one! My favorite character is Buffy. I guess I'll post something about myself here as well. My name is Jason (or Jay) and I'm TwoToGo-Grave's twin brother. I'm 26 (he wrote that he is, so I guess it's pretty obvious that I am too) and I go to Kennesaw State University with my brother (we're both planning on becoming high school social studies teachers.)
I absolutely love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, as well as Firefly, Veronica Mars, 24, and Lost, among other shows. My favorite movie is Serenity (how could it be anything else?) and I love sports, especially baseball. As my avatar attests, I just love the Atlanta Braves and have watched most every game that they've played since 1991. I'm a Christian and I love to play poker pretty much whenever I get the opportunity. If anyone reads this and plays online, I'm often playing on PokerStars.com under the screenname Becoming,Pt2. My favorite episodes may be "Two To Go" and "Grave", in part because they are the only episodes of anything that make me cry every time I see them (did I just admit that?). My favorite episode of Angel is "Not Fade Away" (...obviously.) In fact, when I play live poker, I like to keep a index card that says Not Fade Away with me (that may sound absolutely stupid, but it's true.) There aren't really any characters that I hate and my favorite character is Tara (by far.) I truly love this site and look at it every time that I am on the computer (which is a lot) and I love everyone here. Well, I guess I've done enough babbling here for now. I look forward to reading what everyone else writes here. |

Hey.
My time to introduce myself I guess (I've managed to avoid doing that for the entire time I've been here, I'm just not that good at it): My name's Katarina, and I'm from Sweden (a small country in the very north of Europe). I'm 28, and study math at the nearest university from where I live (but I'm on a break at the moment). I've probably been obsessed with Buffy since they first started showing it here. The best episode, as far as my opinion goes, is Once More With Feeling, but my favourite is Earshot. An episode I hate every moment of is As You Were. Favourite character is Buffy, always has been and always will be. Least favourite is Kennedy (I hated her from the moment she came on screen, and that hasn't stopped since), I can't stand Riley either but at least he disappeared eventually. Even though many people here will be mad at me for saying this, I didn't really like Angel (the series) that much. Basically I only like season 1 and season 5, and then a few random episodes in between. They sort of ruined the show for me with the whole Darla-Connor-Evil Cordy-Jasmine thing. Least favourite character there is definitely Connor (who bugs me in ways I didn't even think was possible), favourite for some reason is Lindsey (but that might be because I have a somewhat of an obsession with Christian Kane). Other shows I like are Firefly, Supernatural, Dark Angel, Tru Calling, and even Charmed on occasion (Even though it doesn't even come close to Buffy-standards). Ok *phew* I think I'm done now. |

I also love doublemeat palace because it promotes fake meat products. I used to hate Riley and Kennedy, but have come round to both. Now they both just kinda annoy me sometimes, and the show wouldn't be possible without them. I have trouble picking a single favourite episode or character: not just for BtVS but also for Angel or Firefly. So I won't! I haven' t been on in awhile due to my job but I have missed everyone much, so I figured I could introduce myself as well.
My name is Traci, I'm 27 and of course) I love BTVS and Angel. I have probably watched every ep about 200 times no lying. The best part of my job is in the afternoon I get to watch my eps over and over again on my laptop. My favorite Buffy ep would be Touched when Spike vows his love as he states she's the one. As for Angel it would have to be I will remember You no one can do a scene like that and make me cry every time. I also am currently writing a short book about vampires that is really cool and I hope on day that someone will get to read it and enjoy it as I have enjoyed writing it. As for my favorite books it would have to Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Blake series (those who haven't read them please do they are awesome) and my recent series is from Keri Arthur Riley Jenkins series also good. I recently entered the BTVS writing contest (first place gets to appear in season 8 comic) I have my fingers crossed hope I get it, won't know until April. Anyhow thats me in a nut shell nice to meet everyone. |

Hey guys. Just joined up and so thought I'd better do the intro thing first.
My name's Rob and I'm 31 from Lincolnshire in the UK. I'm 5'11" tall and I've got dark hair (when it's not shaved off) and usually a goatee (or a chinee, to be more accurate). Been a Buffy and Angel fan right from the start since I was lucky enough to catch the first episode way back when Sky One first aired it over here. Didn't miss a single new episode after that. Also really into Firefly/Serenity as well as a few other shows like Stargate, Farscape, 24, Battlestar Galactica, Lost and Supernatural. Just starting to get into Heroes too. Musically I'm a massive rock fan. I like bands from pretty much any genre from metal and goth to punk and emo but my first love will always be grunge. Growing up in the 90s made certain of that.  Favourite bands include Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, REM, Evanescence, My Chemical Romance, Led Zep, System of a Down, Slipknot, Distillers, NIN, Green Day and favourite artists include David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Idol among many others.
As for Buffy and Angel episodes, favourites include Spiral, Passion, Triangle, Restless, Hush, In The Dark, Reunion, Release and, of course, Chosen and the amazing Not Fade Away. There really aren't many episodes that I hate but if I had to choose then it's gonna have to be Life Serial and Doublemeat Palace. I do like season six of Buffy but those two just don't do it for me. Okay, that's about it. Anything else you want to know, just ask!

this is my first foray into the world of on line interpersonal interaction. I have a friend who posts on here and was very much wanting me to find the fun of playing buffy geeks. The other day I was watching double meat palace and was inspired by the cheesy antics to join this forum. It provided many options for my screen name but as I really love pickles in all there forms, I couldn't really go past dehydrated pickle. I'm not really sure what direction I am taking or how often I will get a chance to play, but I will aspire to visit this land as often as possible. My job does not involve a computer (cos I work at the grill), where I can take breaks (cos downtime robs us all) to search for excitement which severely reduces my chance to talk about the wonder of double meat delights (which are actually vegetable protein). I'm not sure what my favourite episode is, I love so many. I do know that I have only watched killed by death once and was very disturbed so have not managed to recover enough to watch it again. I also have a few episodes that I don't especially love, including beer bad, which I actually watched last night and a friend pointed out a delicious looking burger, open on screen, during one of maggie walsh's lectures, with the cheese looking all glisteny and yellow. My friend then went on to explain the beginnings of what is her theory behind season 4 and the cheese theme which comes back in many episodes, including the final cheesy extravaganza that is restless. I will have to have a burger or two and ponder this. This little insight gave me a new lease on this episode and decided that it did indeed have something, if only small, to offer. Well I have to get back to the grill cos i heard the timer go off and all those burgers need to look the same, so it's see ya for now. |

My name is Jess I'm the creator of The Buffy and Angel Trivia Guide, and I run this fine forum (though I never have any time to spend here so it's very kindly really run by Mel and Ant4Buffy). Most of my time is spent updating The Buffy and Angel Trivia Guide (http://www.triviaguide.net), or working in a university.
I don't say often enough how much I love the chat on this forum, or the comments/trivia suggested on the Trivia Guide. The response has been phenominal and the site is now heading into it's fifth year. Some trivia for you: the Buffy and Angel Trivia Guide actually started out as 'Clever Little Slayer' in 2000 before I renamed it and decided to concentrate completely on trivia. I am 28 years old, and very happily married to the man who introduced me to Buffy many years ago (no, not Joss Whedon!). I live in Limerick, Ireland with him and our two cats. My favourite episodes of Buffy include Triangle, OMWF, and The Zeppo. I also like Chosen, having cried like a baby at the end, partly for the end of the show and partly because I though it meant the end of my website. But look, here we are 4 years later so wasn't I wrong? I really dislike the episode As You Were and come out in a rash everytime I edit that episode's page on my site. I'm not as big a fan of Angel, and was reluctant to add the show to (what was then) The Buffy Trivia Guide but I'm glad I did as it's grown on me. Now I love the episodes Spin the Bottle, Power Play and Smile Time. I don't watch TV anymore (though recently got into Veronica Mars, having found all the episodes online). I'd rather watch movies on DVD. Last night my husband and I decided to start rewatching all episodes of Buffy again, after a good few months of not watching any episodes at all. I'm glad we did - that was one damn good show. |

Introducing myselfHello,I'm alwaysthebest. About that name, it's a name I began using when I registered at another forum, which I was planning to change after a while. However, I never stopped using it, and now I'm so used to it, I use it on the internet most of the time. I live in the Netherlands and I'm 20 years old. I started watching Buffy when it was aired late at night. The first show I saw was Him, and I was hooked immediately. For some reason, they then began airing 6, showing every second episode, so they aired episode 1, 3, 5 enz. I didn't know the show, so I didn't mind, I loved it anyway. After a while, I was curious about the whole show, so I bought the DVD's, every 2 months one season. After a while, someone I know from the Dutch forum FOK!, pushed me to buy Angel too after that. I still love that one for that. If I would have to choose between Angel and Buffy, I choose Buffy. The show is a bit lighter, more humour I like, and Willow and Anya are in it. 
From Buffy, my favourite episode is Innocence. I just love Buffy with the bazooka. 
I saw OMWF so many times I can sing almost the whole episode along.  My favourite actrice is Anya (so funny, but makes you cry when needed). I don't like Riley, like so many of us.
From Angel, my favourite episodes are Waiting in the wings (like the extra scene on the DVD) and You're welcome. I almost stopped watching Angel, because I didn't like Holtz and especially Connor, but I'm glad is stayed watching, otherwise I would have missed the great season 5. Favourite character: Fred. At the forum I previously talked about, someone linked Triviaguide. I really like all the info here! I learned so much more about the show en references. There is so much information here! It really makes Buffy/Angel more fun to watch. |

Comic geek, music geek, guitar geek. Somehow I missed out on Buffy when it was on the air, but seen most or all in reruns on FX (until this morning). Lessee - I guess my fav. episode would be between The Replacement, The Wish and Superstar. I've been really liking the season 8 stuff, but I haven't read any of the other buffy/angel/spike comix - I consider them to be apocryphal, but I could be wrong. |

Hi. My name is My, and I'm from Sweden. I'm 25 years old and I live with a dog (my avatar) and three cats. Apart from watching Buffy and Angel I enjoy playing computer and board games, discussing politics and philosophy and doing mathematics. And right know I feel a bit like Alyson Hannigans character in the first American Pie movie. ^^
One of my favourite episodes is Hush, and I think Kendra should have had more time on the show. I really like season seven of Buffy, and I think it's a great ending to the series. I even like Kennedy. Please don't hit me. ^_^ Oh, and I choose the name Kulak because for some reason I really like demons with... those things, I have no clue what they're called in English. Dragons have them, and they are like ridges along the spine and head, but larger, I guess, and more separate. And also, who wouldn't like to have bone knives inbedded in their arms? |

Hi everyone.
I'm new to this site, and relatively new to the world of Buffy fanaticism. So I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Phoebe, I'm 24 years old and I live in Australia with my son Jet. I used to watch Buffy back when it was on TV, but only up to about season five, when I was too busy with finishing high school, and then after high school I moved to Thailand, where there was no Buffy. Also Dawn kind of annoyed me at first, and I heard that Buffy had died and come back to life, and I thought the show might have jumped the shark a bit. But last year after my son was born, I found myself spending a lot of time sitting around the house doing nothing very much, so I bought season one of Buffy on DVD, and got totally addicted all over again, then I bought ALL of the Buffy and Angel DVDs, and when I'd finished watching them, I wanted to talk about the show all the time. Unfortnately none of my friends are Buffy fans, so I found this site so I would have people to talk and obsess about it with. Buffy, or more specifically the writing on Buffy, also inspired me to switch my uni degree from professional writing and editing, to media communications, so I can focus on screenwriting. I don't watch much television, but Buffy has showed me that television can be well written. I couldn't pick a favourite episode, I like too many for such different reasons. But I can tell you that my favourite characters are Anya and Andrew, because they're so funny, and Spike and Oz because I think they're cool and sexy. My favourite character on Angel was definately Doyle. Don't know why, I just liked him. And as for the invisibility gun question, I would definately use it on Kennedy and Conner. So... I think that's about it. |

That's really awesome that you changed your uni course because of Buffy - part of my course is also to do with media and I want to get into screenwriting eventually too! IntroHey!I'm new (but you probably guessed that...) but I've been a Buffy addict for a couple of years. My favourite episodes are Fool For Love, Passion, Conversations With Dead People, Grave, Lovers' Walk... the list could probably go on for much longer! I would want to make Riley invisible. Kennedy bugs me but she's important to the whole buffy-getting-kicked-out story, so she has to be there, but Riley just seems pointless and really really annoying. My favorite characters are Willow and Spike because they have the most interesting points of view and they've both been good and bad in a fairly major way. And you gotta love Xander. Other than Buffy, of course, I like Scrubs, Smallville, Heroes and anime shows. And my favourite author is Stephenie Meyer. |

I've missed you all so much and thought about you often. I hope you'll take this prodigal daughter back with open arms....My name is Amanda and I'm 35 years old. I decided I needed to start posting again because I went to a Buffy the Vampire Slayer party last night and totally geeked out when we did a sing-along to OMWF. The hostess had printed out all the sheet music so people could see the words. She tried to hand a copy to me and I was like, "Um, no thanks. I don't need those." It was a costume party and I went as Faith. I made some cool temporary tattoos of Faith's tattoo and whittled my own stake. It was such a blast! I just had to share with you all. It feels good to be here again. Like coming home. |

Yay for the return of Sunnyd! Been a long time since we chatted last since I have finished Buffy now And I don't think I had started the last time we spoke. (Well maybe I had seen half of WTTH. And remember when you started that newbie thread for me way back when?) And 14 episodes left on Angel And then onto Firefly/Serenity. Following that, Dr. Horrible (insaneinthebasement and I should be finishing Serenity around the 17th/18th of July) and then I'll start in on comics to keep me busy until Dollhouse.

For the record, anyone out there thinking about having a baby should really think about it for a long time before deciding. It's HARD! Like SERIOUSLY HARD! It kept me from this forum for a whole year! You suddenly have no time for anything fun. It does get better, but OMG--unless you have kids you have no idea.... That said, I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm sooooo happy. Toby brings me such joy that I can't even put it into words. He's just the most perfect baby EVAH! But I am slightly biased being his mom and all. |

It's been a long time since I was here, but I have never forgotten the forum. I mean, I spent my best internet-times here. It's just for the first times there were life issues in the way, after that there was some internetless issue and then there was the "can't find the site" problem. But I'm back for good now. As I said, I live in England now, in Brighton, for 10 months now. I live with my girlfriend and my dog, we absolutely adore this city. We are working here, I have my fourth job now. That's the short version....

long time no see! i had wondered where you went to, and hoped everything was OK in your world. Lovely to hear that you are happy and well and living abroad. I too have been absent from the forum for ages, and i havent posted since before i went away in november last year... i have no excuses other than life! great to see lots of people like me are still lurking aorund the edges (darth, sunnyD, hannah, dosta, etc) so i dont feel so bad. but whenever i watch buffy, which is often, i think about my firends on this forum and the various debates over the best and worst episodes and characters. i'll try and visit more often, im just a bit limited in my access at the moment. work is flat out and at home well i just try and spend less time looking at a screen seeing as i do that so much at work. love to all xx |

I finally got my girlfiend to watch buffy after 8 Months of trying to get her to watch it she finally gave in and now secretly she loves it and is up to season 5 yay!! I went to a Sci Fi con yesterday and met AMBER BENSON!!! and Adam Busch!! and I had a moment where I was standing in line and realised that I really missed you all and my buffy geekiness (Well all my geekiness) was in the lacking department =[. |

Life is good.. Since I moved to Birisbane I have made so many new friends so Im always doing something. Im still not allowed to work full time due to the nerve I damaged in my arm but Im working part time at a LGBT Youth Center which is really fun and Im helping set up a LGBT Youth Center in a area in where its needed so thats pretty cool. I have been with my girlfriend now for a little over 8 months .....and FINALLY she watches Buffy! Did you notice how pointedly I said finally lol. Im going to be studying Youth Work sometime this year so Im really excited about that! Over the weekend at Supanova I met Adam Busch and Amber Benson who are both lovely people... She remembered my name on the second day hehehe she has a cousin named Cody and its even spelt the same way. She is short!! Im 5'5 and she is just shorter then me.

WE turned it on to the ep where Buff is fighting Darla and Thomas. So I told my sis to turn it off in under a minute. But it was still my first ep and if we had left it on we wouldn't have seen a whole hell of a lot and poor 6 year old me would have vampires chasing her all night. TV SERIES BOXSETS IN MY POSSESSION: Complete: Buffy, ANgel, DArk ANgel, Gilmore Girls, Tru CAlling. Season 1-3 Supernatural, 1and2 Prison Break. I don't miss Grey's, SN, T:TSCC,or now Dollhouse (you can't write DH coz then you think Desperate Housewives, which I watch but don't mind missing and having to catch up) also when it was on BSG. I have all the eps of Firefly but didn't buy the boxset. I play the Guitar and Piano, but have much much more to learn. Xander: Is it hard to play guitar? Oz: Not the way I play it. I like taking pictures. I like basketball, I'm learning how to box and would love to learn to play pool.
