Lost Season Five!

Anyone see the episodes tonight?  Thoughts?  Opinions?  Etc?
I'll write some of my thoughts later, but it was sooooooooooooo great tonight.  Smile

What an awesome start to the new season! Can't really find anything wrong with it so far. Love the idea of the island warping, love the idea of more "flashes" and "constants". I think Sun is evil and playing Kate - Kate'll have to kill someone me reckons.
Can't wait for next week.
I'm going now to keep my body stored in a meat locker.
Bye.

LOST still rules! It's only gotten even more confusing but never mind, haha.

Crap I've been forgetting to post about Lost. Loving the new season. Tis great that Desmond's kid is called Charlie. Good ending to the episode. I can't really see where they're going with the nose bleeding story but its totally different to Heroes as I think the writers actually know where they're going with it.

Good episode this week. Loved the beginning and the way it just completely mirrored the first episode. I think that this was the poorest episode of the season but it was still great.
I think Ben went to go and kill Penny (since Desmond was around Ben would know to just follow him, also he called Jack from the Marina) but he got beaten up by Desmond. Love the twist at the end as I thought it was Horace.
Heres what I think has happened on the island:
When Locke turned the wheel the flashes obviously stopped after one final turn, this transported the losties back in time to when the Dharma Initiative were first setting up on the island - like we saw at the very beginning of the season. My theory is that everyone has got jobs and now they are stuck in this time period. That is why Jin was in a Dharma uniform and was driving a new looking VW.
Also what was strange was the flash when the plane crashed.
The other thing was that the random guy who said "sorry for your loss" to Jack about Locke. I thought he had been in it before - turns out he was in Vantage Point with Matthew Fox. Do'h.
Can't wait to see where they're going. Looking forward to the next episode.

Interesting episode tonight. Locke being alive is a nice plot twist. Didn't really think they would go that way but I'm glad he's back.
I think Ben killed him because the Island would not let Locke commit suicide so Ben had to do it.
Does this mean that Christian is alive? Could do but the producers said that he was definately dead.
I didn't realise that they had landed on the Hydra runway so Ben or someone must have known this was going to happen. Frank and other woman leaving is quite lucky but I wonder why they went off.
I know I'm the only person posting on this - are people getting bored of Lost or you just too busy? I reckon its the latter as Lost is the best it has been since it started.

I've absolutely LOVED this season.  I've been really busy of late, and therefore haven't posted too much.  But every episode has been great, and the story is just soooooooo exciting.
It's easily the best show on television, still.

The airliner couldnt have landed on a runway because, if, as you rightly pointed out, they and Jin are stuck in '70's era Dharma, the runway wasnt even finished in 2004 when Sawyer and Kate were forced to work on it.

Damon Lindelof said that people who die on the island stay dead, but then Charlie said to Hurley "I'm dead, but Im here, too."

Oh yes! I'm now going to gloat about being right! Yay!
Loved the reference to the guyliner on Richard.
I was thinking about Richard and the way he doesn't age. I reckon Locke will now be the same. He will not age as he has already died. Maybe Richard has died before?

I think that possibly the others are "flashing" or able to travel through time as this would explain how they suddenly appear and disappear infront of our losties. So maybe they can time travel.
Bring on next week.

Be funny if Dave, Hurley's imaginary friend, turns out to be Kirk-phasing-in-and-out-of-space/time-in-transporter-in-a-spacesuit Jacob.... His cabin is like a properly-functioning TARDIS, and  so travels with him...
