Kids in general are adorable.

Okay, so a few weeks ago, I'm chillin' in my photo class, walking around campus looking for some picture moments when I look at the ground....
Schools are no longer safe. You know, I thought the library was a little creepy, with the drippy water and the crazy ants. And then we get a new principal and he's like, let's go rip up the school to make it look better. Uh-uh, he's lookin' for a hellmouth.
I just hope the Mayor doesn't speak at our graduation.

Nice pics everyone! Did that candy cart say "floss?" Is that because they sell floss for your teeth after you eat all that candy? Or is there something called "candy floss" that I don't know about?

He has about 13 of them!
- a triquetra on his back linking the kid's names.
- a sunflower down his right arm with Melanie going down the stem.
- he has a bird with mum on it on his arm (from when he was younger
- a Yosamite Sam on his arm (from when he was younger and that I hate!)
- 3 cherubs holding a scroll with the kid's names
- another 3 cherubs with a moon and stars on his chest & shoulder.
- a crossword with all our names on his arm
- another one with the kids names and my name under it on his arm.
- 3 stars representing the kids on his arm.
- he has the initials S & M intertwining on his calf. (Simon & Melanie).
- he has all our initials with love hearts along the side of his lower arm.
- he has a small poem he wrote "three shining lights, three little delights" (meaning the kids) along the side of his other arm.
The best thing is he designs all his tattoos himself so they are all original. (apart from the ones when was younger) He always gets them to represent the kids or me & him.
Here is a pic of the triquetra on his back - this photo was taken just after the tattoo was finished so it still looks very red!

Well, this morning C smells dead rat so we call the rat guy (exterminator). But we got tired of waiting so I got under Cheryl's work station and opened the trap door in the wall and there it was, well at least it's tail. So I get a trash bag and extract the stinky dead rat by the tail... Yuck.. I'm charging that time to the office. But at least, now, I'm back in C's good graces... teehee

It has taken me so long to get my long hair back.
When I was 20 my hair was just about the same length and permed (when spiral perms were in....LOL) and I got a really nasty virus and my hair fell out.
Then I just kept getting it cut..and now finally I have my long hair back!
I almost got it cut into a shoulder length bob just before Christmas but then I backed out.
It takes me an age to do it though....about an hour to blow dry properly and another 40 minutes to starighten.....so usually I just tie it back.

Yay for long hair!
I don't blame you for backing out on cutting it... it's scary. Mine's at my waist right now and I want to cut it and donate it... but it took four years to get it to my waist (from my ear.)
You must have such patience to straighten it... I gave up a few inches ago.

Create an account at Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) and upload a picture to it (it's fairly trivial). When you go to your own list of photos, beneath it is a line that says 'BBcode'. Copy that text, and paste it in the board. Et voila.

I have had the willies for "realistic" looking figurines... well actually any figurines... yipes! I remember watching this movie years ago about these little creatures that looked like figurines that lived in behind the fireplace that came out at night and caused trouble... death and stuff. Kind were they put string across the stairs to trip the mother and father... kind of still freaks me out. It didn't help that I am the youngest of six kids and they told me that we had a "special" door behind our "faux-fireplace" that led into these demons world.
I remember as a teenager, my mother asked me to clean the fireplace and the area behind it... blocked off corner with a fake fireplace front (looked real with a mantle and all). I crawled into the area and noticed that my mom used it to store stuff... but there was a hatch that opened up into the basement... I was freaked out when I saw that "door"! Now when I visit my folks I think it is cool that she used it to hide stuff... x-mas gifts and stuff... But back then with the figurine movie in my mind and my brothers and sisters teasing, I was terrified of falling asleep on the floor of the living-room to be sucked down the "door to hell".
So with that, you can see why I have NO figurines in my apartment. But hey, if you like them... learn from this and keep them locked up at night (haha). PS: Has anyone seen the Twilight episode were this little girl keeps her babysitters locked up as dolls in a display case? And if any of you remember the name of that movie I descibed... can you let me know, thanks.)

You're not alone, CP. My mom had a doll collection in a display case when I was growing up. When I was about 10, I had a sleepover with 2 friends and we stayed up late watching an old episode of the Twilight Zone where there's a wooden "voodoo" doll with a chain around it's waist. The woman who has it accidentally breaks the chain and the doll comes to life, chasing her around with a huge butcher knife. She eventually kills it by throwing it in the microwave. Anyway, we were watching TV (and sleeping) in the room with the dolls and we were totally freaked out all night. I've gotten over it since then, but I'll never forget that episode or that night.
By the way, nice pic, Ildjarn! You look the same as in your other pictures from 10 years ago. You're not a vampire, are you? Haha.
