Yeah I'll my name to that list too. Sorry I haven't been internetting much recently. And I'll be running further away soon, because I'm moving back to Thailand in September (yay!). I'm going to be doing some volunteer work in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. So I probably won't be round here much until Christmas.

DUDES!!! *group hug* And again, I disappeared XD. Sorry about that! I've been okay, I'm on summer holidays from uni at the moment, but I'm working a lot so I've been kinda tired lately. I finally left my job at the pharmacy so I'm now working in a cinema! It's a shit job sometimes (especially working the Harry Potter 6 opening, OMG that was crazy) but the people are awesome and a good laugh, and we get to watch films for free, so that's pretty great.
As for what's been going on in my life? Well, this past semester at uni, from February to May, was AWFUL. The classes were absolutely rubbish and I generally just had a really hard time of it. I ended up missing the credits for one of my older modules so I have to redo 3rd year and change courses - but I'm going into English and Film, so I'm hoping that'll work out better. It should be good.
Anyway, enough about me, how've you all been? What's been going on with you guys lately? NFA and TwoToGo, how did the job hunt end up in the end? BEAGLE! How's your raccoon doing? Ebdim...how's things in general?

Well Wyn, it looks very gradually as though my job situation might be looking up. A program director at station called back ,and said at the end of August they might pick things up for football season, as well as even more if they purchase a new station as planned. So, while I need to keep looking, thats the best news Ive had in maybe a month and a half or so.
I hope Film in University turns the corner for you, leaving behind some of the crap that already happened.....

Great to see you again Wynter. As for the job hunt, it's gotten nowhere yet. Our last day before the layoff was a week and a half ago, so we at least have a few more weeks of severance pay while we (hopefully) find something. Thanks for asking.

Ebdim, I'm glad things are looking up for you! Sorry you lost your job in the first place, that happened to a lot of friends of mine, and it's not been a fun situation. Actually, a lot of friends who have just graduated this year are having a hard time finding a job right now, so take some comfort from the fact you're not alone!
Thanks for the well-wishes too, I'm hoping I can just get through this course and graduate successfully in the end, I'm getting a bit sick of uni now. But ah well, I'll power through.
TwoToGo, ah, that's good, I'm glad you guys have something to keep you going for a while. Good luck with the hunting though!

its winter where i am and its raining outside and im drinking tea and listening to neko case and reading about dollhouse and buying awesome seats to tori amos downunder in Nov and eating cheesy toast and realising its been a while for me too. i imagine myself as a regular lurker but i simply am lame. still surfin even though its cold the waves are great, and oh yeah heres some news im getting hitched in february yay! big party with lots of friends and family, oh to be in love love love.

Cardy, You take off where I left off. I just filed for divorce after 20 yrs and year of seperation. Moved, well about half way so far, back into my house. A million things going on in my life and head. The hardest parts are over now.
