With that hint the only episode I can think of is The Witch. (Cordy loses her sight, some other cheerleader loses the ability to speak) I'm really not sure where the death part comes in, did someone die in that episode? (It's been ages since I saw season 1, I might have to watch it again now)

Spells cast dealing with sight, speech and death. She tried to kill Buffy. Props for the great guessing you two! I thought because I picked the ep after the Harvest which was the answer to the last one, sometimes I forget how much stuff gets used in these shows, and my hints really need work so bare with me _________________
And your hints weren't bad, just tricky (which isn't bad). I think it might be summertime that's clogging up our brains a little, it's harder to think when the weather's nice for some reason :)
