Yeah, that made me snerk.

I hope Daphne wasn't being insincere. I LOVE Matt, and I think he and her are actually fairly cute, so I want her to be telling the truth. I do get what you mean though, how it seemed a bit "off". I think maybe it's because the feelings just seemed to come out of nowhere, it's only been what, one episode really since he told her about their future together? And I know she at least liked him and didn't want him to get hurt, but sudden declarations of love are a bit iffy. I won't be too cynical though, I hope it's true.

I also loved the ending, with the different groups of heroes standing around, I'm a total sucker for that kinda stuff. Loved it when Nathan, Peter and Claire all turned up at Angela's bedside. And now they know Claire is the catalyst! This is intriguing...anyway, Tracy surprised me a bit, she's ambiguous now, which is a bummer, because I was hoping she'd be on the side of good. And I'm still holding out for Sylar screwing his dad over. Please, PLEASE let that happen!

As for Matt and Daphne, it seems so annoying to see that.  They've know each other, what, five minutes?  And she LOVES him?  I mentioned to my brother after Angela stated for dumba...err...Arthur that they used to be like that once, 'yes, they did use to be total strangers'.  Oh well, that's just a bad line.
Hiro thinking he's ten?  Great thing to do when they can't think of a $#*@ing story for him, huh?  And Ninth Wonders is no longer being made.  Shortly before the guy who made them DIED, he said that the issue he had just written was the LAST one.  I guess the writers forgot that?
I hate dumba...err...Arthur.  I spend every second that he's on screen wishing he'd die some horrible death.  He's not interesting, the actor is stiff, and there's nothing to him as a villain.  Oh, and why is Kristen Bell willing to be on that side?  Why is Not!Nikki willing to be on that side (and play Nathan like three days after he saved her life)?  Oh, that's right...because they need characters to fill for that side and balance it out somewhat, whether they showed good reasoning for why they're on that side.  And for a season called 'Villains', the villains sure are dumb this year.

The Hiro thing is funny, I'll admit, but it annoys me too, because it's like they can't think of anything better for him to do, so he's used just for comedic value. I hope that wears off soon. I saw a preview clip for the new episode, and...

Spoiler:

Angela sends Matt to get him, for their side, so hopefully they can fix it.

And Peter and Nathan go looking for the Haitian, woo!

Arthur is really rubbish for a villain, I agree. I didn't get why Elle joined that side too!!! Probably to pair her with Sylar, I guess, but it still bugged me.

Here's hoping the next coupla episodes are better.

Yeah, that made me snerk.

Strange how the electricity burnt it's way through TWO shirts, but his trousers remained immune.

Boring episode this week. I only hope they are building up to something awesome.

I liked the way everyone lost their powers but I'm sure they'll get em back when the eclipse is past total. Speedy girl's legs were interesting. Hiro is getting boring now with his 10 year oldness. Need to move that on. The drawings that "I've got no emotion or acting talents" man drew were a bit cack. On Claire's drawing it looked like she was bleeding from the neck but she got shot in the shoulder. Meh.
Shock horror ending! Will Noah shoot Sylar??
No. No he won't.
I hate being negative about a show I used to love and think was possibly becoming better than Lost. Its just a shame.
What did others think of this weeks ep?

I thought it was a bit of a so-so episode. I didn't hate it, but it certainly wasn't the best. There were some interesting parts.

The worst bits:
1. Mohinder, ugh he is so gross, either turn into a cockroach or whatever the hell or die!
2. The way Matt turns his head on the side and squints when he's reading thoughts, it really really bugs me.
3. Arthur, he is such a bland villain.

The best bits:
1. There wasn't much Arthur.
2. The part when Daphne's dad was all "Why are you turning your head on the side like that?", I laughed so hard!
3. The Haitian!
4. I liked the idea that I felt the episode was trying to get at. That the character's were reverting to what they were in season one. Not just in the sense that they didn't have powers anymore, but their character roles were reverting back.
Claire is the catalyst. She's been invulnarable and painless, so being the catalyst reverts her to being someone who needs protecting, and all the heroes feel they have to rally together to save the cheerleader again. Also she's back to hiding things from her dad.
HRG is kind of being secret agent man again.
Peter is back to relying on Nathan, and Nathan is back to choosing between his family or his career.
Matt is back to thinking only about his love life.
Hiro is back to not speaking English, way more geeky without his Samurai training, and being vaguely annoying.
And Elle and Sylar are dallying with being villains again.

Having said all that, hopefully this is just a brief phase and we don't actually lose 2 season's worth of character. I can't really see the writers allowing that, so I assume they'll all get over that.

Well said.  I want to go on and on, but I lack the motivation as well.  It's just...ugh.

Yes! He's dead! He's finally dead!! Goodbye Mr I-Have-No-Facial-Expressions!

Best episode by far this season!

That is all.

I finally got a chance to watch the finale today, it was freaking awesome!!! I'll have to come back and post more later when I've calmed down a bit.
